According to his descendant, Abraham Conklin b. about 1820-26 (Orange, NJ?) m. 2nd Rebecca Brown 6 Oct 1853 West Milford, Passaic Co., NJ m. 1st Mary A. before 1846 NY or NJ (1850 census shows Abraham, Mary A., son John (W?) 4 and dau. Ellen 2 in both Goshen and Hamptonburg, Orange Co., NY). Dau Mary was born 1852 in Crawford Co., Ohio - seems like Mary A. died after that, and Abraham went home to find a second wife.

 Abraham and Rebecca then were found back in Crawford Co., Ohio, (1860) with John, Mary and Ellen, and had several more children

According to marriage cert of Abraham and Rebecca, Abraham is the son of John and either John or Abraham was living in Goshen, NY at that time (1853).
